The No.2 Sports School
is a high-level athlete reserves base with a remarkable tradition.
Since establishment, the school has fostered a lot of outstanding
sportsmen for Beijing and the whole country, including Lang
Ping, the famous volleyball player and coach, Yang Ling, champion
of the Olympic shooting match, Niu Zhiyuan, champion of the
Shooting World Cup. The school has first-class sports facilities
and gymnasiums, wonderful cultural education conditions, advanced
computerized classrooms, computer houses, labs, a library,
reading rooms, as well as well-conditioned dormitories, canteens
and bathrooms. The school boasts a highly responsible and

The school has an administrative office, a Party and mass
office, a training section, an educational administration,
an HR section, a financial department, an IT department, a
research and medical station, an administrative department,
a catering service section and an operation training department.
The administrative office serves for the principal and other
school leaders to handle administrative affairs of the school.
The Party and mass office serves for the Party committee to
carry out Party affairs, discipline supervision, and mass
work of the Labor Union, the WomenĄŻs Association and the Youth
League. The training section is responsible for athletes training,
games organization and management. The educational administration
is responsible for the cultural education, studentsĄŻ management
and secondary athletes training. The HR department is responsible
for retired cadres management, as well as personnel, labor
and capital administration. The financial department enforces
a uniform control of the schoolĄŻs financial affairs. The IT
department manages the schoolĄŻs electronic information technology.
The research and medical station is responsible for sports
technology research and medical care. The catering service
department prepares food for the faculty and athletes. The
operation training department carries out operation training
to make profits; meanwhile itĄŻs responsible for non-secondary
athletes (special talents class) management and training.
