In 1990, the rowing event of the 11th session of Asian Games was held on Jinhai Lake in Beijing, Liang Hong, with the coordination of the teammates, attained the champion of men’s eight helmsman with single oar competition, which is the time for Beijing team to win the intercontinental match championship. It has been 20 years since the establishment of the team, under the concern of leadership, the team expands unceasingly with steadily improved scores, which has all obtained the outstanding result in many national or in international important games, at present, there are 11 athletes of Beijing rowing team being the members of the national sports team.
