| Beijing Municipal Bureau of
Sports is the direct-subjected department in charge of physical works
of our city. Their main responsibilities included: |

(1) Carry out national physical
works target, policies and statutes, discuss and study out regulations,
policies and development layout so as to the related organization
works of physical works of our city.
(2) Responsible of physical system reform works, set up development
stategy of our municipal physical works and rule out middle-term and
long-term development plan so as to the related organization works.
(3) Organize and guide citizen large-size physical activities of all
department staff as well as people of all circles of the country and
implement Extensive Mass Fitness program.
(4) Overall Planning of competitive sports of our city; Conduct building
of top-grade athletic teams and amateur training systerm; plan physical
competition sports , manage and conduct municipal physical competitivesports;
conduct physical scientific research work, strengthen development
of new scientific topics and implementation of scientific fruits;
organize and develop Anti-Doping activities.
(5) Foster topnotch atheletes and set up training schedule foster
and develop physical talent market.
(6) Participate in building of municipal physical facilities layout
and supervising its management and applying.
(7) Study and draw out municipal physical industry policies,foster
and develop municipal physical market and regulate physicaloperation.
(8) Responsible for municipal physical management works of social
organization’s quanlification examination and operation.
(9)Manage municipal physical foreign affairs, carry out corporation
and communication works between countries as well as with Hongkong
Special Adminidtration District, Macao Special Administration District
and Taiwan Province; participate and host or participating in hosting
of international physical competition sports; successfully carry out
popularization work of municipal physical sports
(10)Undertaking other projects handed from the Municipal Deparment. |

responsibilities, municipal physical department work out 8 functional
authorities, institutions and party committees. |
| |
1. Administration Department
Responsible for administration of the department affairs; in charge
of management as documents information paper, proposals, suggestions
research collections and security works including organization of
important congress and large-size activities; important documents
and congress results’s implementation works, foreign affairs of the
department; coordinate communications with other countries and between
Hongkong and Macao Special Administration District and Taiwan Province
2. Legislation Popularization Department
Draw out or organize local legislations, rules and protocols of municipal
physical sports; validity auditing of legislation documents ruled
out by our department; executation and supervising of physical sports;
duty on administrative rewiew, administrative compensation case and
lawsuit works; organize administrative hearing; research big problems
in during development of physical activities, study and draw out policies
of municipal sports; join in popularization works by joint-effort
of other organizations.
3. Mass Physical Sports Department
Research and draw out related physical policies and development plan,
implement Extensive Mass Fitness Program, supervise implementation
of national physical exercise standard; organize national physical
check-up, guide and push development of school, rural area, urban
area and other social physical excercises as well as national Extensive
Mass Fitness institutions.
4. Competitive Sports Department
Research and draw out related policies and regulation drafts of municipal
physical sports, plan athletic sports items of competition activities,
foster high-level athletes, conduct and promote district, county and
all kinds of afterhours training works, cultivate and diliver backup
atheletes; comprehensivly coordinate training and managing works of
municipal professional athlete teams and organize those team to join
in national and international large-scale competitions.
5. Physical Market Administration Department
Work out municipal physical development schedule; research and draw
out exercise entertainment, competitive performance, training services,
technic information and other policies, regulation drafting works;
cultivate municipal physical market; conduct, coordinate development
of departmental physical industry.
6. Program planning and construction Department
Research and draw out middle-term and long-term development program,
supervise management and utilization of municipal physical facilities,
promote their builing and development, in charge of departmental financing,
supervise,conduct physical affairs outlay, manage and supervise departmental
state capital and infrastraction project; responsible of sensoring
and auditing works.
7. Science and Technology Education Department
Take charge of scientific publication of municipal competitive athlete
sports and public sports, carry out important scientific research
and techninogy breakthroughs as well as auditing, identifying and
promotion of some large-scale physical scientific fruits; responsible
for departmental adult education, cultural education and medicine
management education; continuously carry out anti-Doping activities.
8. HR Department (Senior Cadres Department)
Responsible for departmental HR management; for conducting HR management
of direct subjected departments; for recruiting talent athletes, retiring,
injury access(employee included)and insuring; for management of retire
staffs of direct subjected department,organs and party committee;
for party committee organizations of the department and direct subjected
departments.
